Goal Design – Attitudes and Visualizations
Self Help Guide in Affirmations
Goal Design – Is your attitude important?
Goal design takes work. The first part to goal design comes in setting your goals. You must know what you want before you can begin. The next part to the process is affirming the goals to yourself. You must believe your goal design is possible or there is little point in starting. The part of the process is visualizing the goals. See them in your head and you will probably see them in reality.
The final part of the goal design process is having the attitude to get your goal.
We all have a negative side, it is impossible not too and when the negative side takes over and becomes predominate in your life, it affects the way you work, the enthusiasm you work with and the results you get.
Goal design takes effort because you must be aware of your attitude and take control of it. Whilst I am not suggesting that you watch your every move in life, it is important to be aware of how you are feeling and each day set up the way you want it to be.
Consider yourself as a pilot on an airline who goes through a checklist on the plane before he takes off and he plans his trip out completely before moving the plane one inch. I am suggesting you do something similar. You need a goal design check list for your day and a plan before moving one inch in your day.
Goal design is reinforced by affirmations. This is your way of reminding yourself continually that you can do what you state. The negative thoughts that are going on in your head are silenced eventually by the affirmations and are an essential part of success. If no one else believes you, at least believe yourself! Affirmations are the starting point of self belief and positivity.
Affirmation detail is important. Be precise and specific in when you affirm and say it with decisiveness. Say the words out loud not in your head so that your soul can actually hear them!
Visualization is the goal design process part of visualizing self in the situation that you want. You need to see yourself immersed in your dream. How does it feel there? How does it small? What are the noises? Can you see it yet?
Visualization is a process of empowering yourself and showing you that you can do it. Surely you have seen a golfer trying to get the ball in the hole before actually taking the shot. This is a self persuasion tool.
